AANHPI Equal Pay Day panel, Bridging the Gap: Policy, Power, and Pay Equity

The wage gap continues to affect Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) women, and the unique disparities faced by ethnic subgroups are too often hidden in aggregated data and compounded by the model minority myth. AANHPI Equal Pay Day is on April 9th, a day to recognize and act on these inequities.

To continue the conversation, NAPAWF invites you to join us for Bridging the Gap: Policy, Power, and Pay Equity for AANHPI Women on Monday, April 13th, 1:45 – 2:45 PM Eastern Time. This virtual event will connect the lived experiences of AANHPI women workers, federal policy, and advocacy for national gender equity.

This virtual event will feature Fatima Goss Graves, CEO of the National Women’s Law Center, Sandra Engel, Executive Director of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, and Congresswoman Grace Meng. The panel will be moderated by NAPAWF’s executive director, Christina Baal-Owens.
