If you’ve ever thought about starting your own podcast, growing an audience or personal brand, or finding ways to stay true to your voice while building a public platform, this event is for you.
Hosted by the Asian American Journalists Association New York Chapter and the South Asian Journalists Association, in partnership with The Asian American Foundation, on Thursday, Oct. 1, the entire event will take place on a soundstage and be taped live. There will be time for audience questions, followed by a chance to mingle and connect over food and refreshments.

Nayeema Raza, host of the Smart Girl Dumb Questions podcast
Asthaa Chaturvedi, senior producer of The New York Times’ The Daily podcast
Each panelist brings a unique perspective on navigating the rapidly changing audio landscape, from developing compelling ideas to building and growing an audience. They’ll also discuss their experiences in journalism and media and what it means to navigate the industry as AAPI professionals.
