A Celebration of Life: Christine Choy

Presented by Third World Newsreel in partnership with the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU and Asian CineVision.

Join to remember Christine Choy, NYU professor, co-founder of Third World Newsreel, and prolific filmmaker and activist.

A selection of clips from Choy’s films will be screened. Guests will be invited to speak about Choy’s impact on them as filmmakers, colleagues, friends, and community members. Together, A/P/A hopes to reflect on her contributions to Asian American filmmaking and the organizations she helped to build.
