36-Hour Play Fesitval

Mou Theatre Club is a Chinese Theater Club that founded by 6 graduate students at NYU. They are dedicated in building an inclusive environment for people who interested in art and theatre as well as a supportive platform for artists. As of now, they have over 200 members and 10+ community partners. They are seeking Chinese Directors and Playwrights. They are thrilled announce a 36-Hour Play Festival at the end of this summer. This is the extended version of 24-Hour Play Festival: a production of several short plays that are created and performed in just 36 hours.

On the morning of the 23rd, directors and playwrights will be paired together and choose actors. They will draw from a lottery for prompts, and they will rehearse throughout the two days until the curtain rises the next day evening. The festival is designed to allow aspiring playwrights, directors, and actors to try their hand at something new, and the time crunch adds to the thrilling, hilarious experience.
