“So Long for Now”

A piece by Young Soon Kim in collaboration with performers

So Long for Now, a collaboration with composers Sam Crawford and Zeb Gould, forges a new artistic path, deeply invested in the meticulous craft of the body‘s limitless capacity for expression. Creating contemporary dance vocabularies with abandon, So Long for Now is a pure dance with intoxicating style, physical power and sensuality, surging with bold and charged movement. So Long for Now achieves a sense of sculptural beauty and intimacy with human nature.

The exhilarating original score of So Long for Now also includes music by Allen Won and Szymon Broszka. The work has six sections: What the world is made of, I see something / I see nothing, So Long for Now, The Walks, Reminiscence and The Finale, and is performed by Young Soon Kim‘s splendid company, including Miguel Anaya, Timothy Emmett Lee Ward, Fanny Gombert, Amanda Hinchey, Juhwan Hwang, Malcolm Low, Emily Pope-Blackman, Mei Yamanaka and Yin Yue.
