Background
GALA Choruses was formed in 1983 and is a membership organization with over 185 member choruses across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. GALA Choruses works closely with the other LGBTQIA+ membership associations around the world including Unison in Canada, Legato in Europe, Proud Voices Asia, and Out & Loud & Proud in Australia.
Responsibilities
-Serve as administrative contact for member chorus with respect to general enquiries, collection of member chorus dues, all GALA sales, and registration for the annual Leadership Symposium and quadrennial GALA Festival registration
-Develop and execute marketing and promotional plan for all organizational activities and events
-Manage, direct, and arrange the live broadcast schedule and execution of quadrennial GALA Festival performances
-Conduct workshops, webinars, and other informational sessions for member choruses regarding onboarding, membership benefits, symposium, and festival
-Monitor, update, and develop GALA Choruses website, social media, and communication channels
-Serve as power-user for Integra database upgrades
-Coordinate celebration of member chorus anniversaries including liaising with board members for videos, creating and editing videos, and liaising with member choruses
Plan and execute the Annual Membership Report
-Monitor leadership changes of member choruses and ensure Integra database is always up-to-date
-Other duties as assigned
Salary: $70,000
Requirements
-5 years of client service experience-Extensive experience with video production and editing
-Familiarity with database management
-Experience with social media marketing and developing marketing plans
-Experience with website development
-Excellent organizational skills and multitasking capabilities
-Excellent written and oral communications skills
