LGBTQ+ Visual Artist Residency 2024

Velvetpark is delighted to hold their 4th Annual LGBTQ + Visual Artist Residency! The selected resident will be awarded a 6 month live/work studio in Brooklyn, to begin and / or develop a piece into a complete body of work. Residents will also have the opportunity to connect with other artists in the creative professions.

Artists working in various mediums and who are emerging, mid-career, or established are welcome to apply.

They are also opening the residency to applicants across the United States. (Applicants must have a primary residence)

The residency will run from July – December 2024.

Velvetpark is a non-profit, multiplatform publishing company that aims to provide new opportunities to LGBTQ+ Writers and Artists.
