Unprecedented times call for unprecedented conversations. As more communities of color become impacted by COVID19, there are significant questions around how to support emerging theatre professionals in a period of greater uncertainty. How can we employ the power of intergenerational POCs in theatre through their knowledge, resources, and storytelling?

The session opens with an introduction to the space by special guest speakers, followed by intimate conversation circles around interest areas. This candid exchange between theatre artists and administrators of color at varying career levels will include discussion on sustainability for theatre practitioners of color in a post-COVID field.

Early Career: This interest form is geared towards early career professionals of color. We’re defining early career/emerging professionals as people who have 3 years or less of experience. This is a rough outline and you may feel you qualify as early career/emerging but are slightly outside the parameters which is fine!

Please understand that the nature of the session calls for limited spots. Confirmations will be made on a rolling basis in order to accommodate as many folx as possible.
