Host for ongoing web series

The “Little Aces Going Places” YouTube series teaches viewers Mandarin vocabulary words by visiting unique, exciting locations, where the host explores and talks directly to the viewer. The closest videos on YouTube are the Blippi videos (though Blippi is a bit too quirky). The videos will mostly be in English, with specific words in Mandarin highlighted.

Requirements

The host of the show (there are no other recurring characters) must be engaging, interesting, and quirky enough to keep the attention span of 6-10 year olds. 18-40 in age, MUST SPEAK and READ MANDARIAN FLUENTLY (Chinese-American pronunciation preferred). Should be energetic, active, engaging, and adventurous (see the Blippi videos, but not that extreme) while being classy (in the vein of Mr. Rogers). The host may occasionally interview guests at each location. Knowledge of the outdoors and good physical fitness are preferred. Ethnic requirements can be ignored if the actor speaks, writes, and reads Mandarin fluently. Pay is $800/day. This is a non-union gig.
