The Wilma Theater seeks someone with strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to juggle tasks, and an interest in fundraising to serve as Development and Executive Assistant.

The Development and Executive Assistant will contribute meaningfully to the organizational culture of the Wilma and will advocate to advance our values on an organizational, local, and national scale. Position Summary
The Development and Executive Assistant works with the Development Director and the Managing Director in support of the Wilma’s fundraising activities, board development, and overall organizational growth. In support of the Managing Director, they will schedule and organize meetings, manage communications, and prepare materials for board members, key donors and prospects. This person will also support the work we do in Tessitura, our database, by managing donor information and running reports. Additionally, this person will manage Development Department logistics and paperwork, including budgets, internal reports, donor materials, and development pages of our website, as well as assisting with donor cultivation and stewardship, including mailings and events. They will assist the Institutional Giving Associate by helping to prepare materials, including budgets, proofreading applications and other submissions, and general assistance with material prep. They will also assist with special projects as assigned.

Position Qualifications
The ideal candidate has: the ability to juggle multiple projects; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; experience with data processing and comfort with numbers; an aptitude for collaboration; and strong communications skills.

The Development and Executive Assistant should be comfortable interacting with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in person and virtually; have a strong yet flexible approach to problem-solving; and a strong ability to juggle and track multiple tasks. They should efficiently manage current processes, while imagining and implementing new approaches to our work. Passion for theater preferred, but not necessary.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a regular part-time, non-exempt role with compensation of $22/hour.

Hybrid Work Environment

This position is on-site at the Wilma’s home at 265 S. Broad Street, with a regular schedule to be negotiated prior to start, but including regular hours 4-5 days per week, with the option for flexible work hours or include occasional additional hours nights and weekends.

Due to Covid-19, much of the Wilma administrative work is conducted in a hybrid environment, of remote and in-person activity. Currently, this position is onsite; however, fluctuations in COVID-19 levels, or other occurrences may result in hybrid work.
Some night and weekend work will be required.

COVID-19 Vaccine Policy
The Wilma Theater requires all employees, whose work requires their physical presence on-site at spaces managed and operated by The Wilma Theater, to be fully vaccinated and up to date with the Pfizer or Moderna (bivalent) booster for COVID-19. Being “fully vaccinated” and “up to date” means that an individual is at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine and booster regimen.

In order to be qualified for employment at the Wilma Theater, final candidates must comply with the vaccination requirement or receive an approved exemption. Exceptions to this policy include:

1. Employees who do not report to a workplace where other individuals (such as coworkers or customers) are present
2. Employees who are working exclusively from home/remote environment

3. Employees who have a documented and approved medical or religious exemption.
