Olivia Hu is a Sociology PhD Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation focuses on the experiences of East Asian individuals in interracial or interethnic relationships (IRB Protocol Number: 852920), and they are conducting an interview-based study on this topic.
If you’re currently in a romantic relationship with someone of a different ethnic or racial background and you identify as Asian, Olivia would like to hear about your thoughts and experiences. The interview will last 1-2 hours, and as a token of appreciation for your time, you will receive $25 upon completing the interview.
To check if you’re eligible for the study, please take a couple of minutes to fill out this questionnaire: tinyurl.com/upenn-study. If you’re eligible, Olivia will contact you to arrange an in-person or virtual (Zoom) interview.
If you do not think you would qualify for this study, she would be very grateful if you could share the screening survey link (tinyurl.com/upenn-study) with your networks.
Feel free to reach out to me at oliviahu@sas.upenn.edu with any questions you may have. Thank you for your help and consideration.
