A4 Welcomes summer 2025 interns Lajward Zahra and Lexi Wachen

A4 is thrilled to welcome Lajward Zahra, intern for The Amp, and Lexi Wachen, Bates College Purposeful Work Intern, for the 2025 summer season.

Lajward Zahra is a sophomore at Rice University studying English and a freelance journalist. She has reported in Teen Vogue, The Nation, Business Insider, and The American Prospect, among others. She is currently a fellow with PBS Student Reporting Labs.

Lexi Wachen is A4’s Bates College Purposeful Work Intern. She is a rising senior at Bates College majoring in Psychology with a minor in Film and Media and Public Health. From the time she could walk, art has always been a huge part of her life, and she is super excited for the opportunity to be part of this inspiring team. As the art program intern at A4, looks forward to collaborating with other creatives to shed light on different projects while deepening her understanding on the way that art works to drive people together.
