A4 Welcomes Michelle Bae as Grantmaking Manager

A4 is thrilled to welcome Michelle Bae as our new Grantmaking Manager.

Michelle has over a decade of experience in grantmaking, specializing in program strategy and implementation, grants management, and administration. Previously, she was at the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund, where she coordinated the administration of $10 million in annual grants, with a particular focus on arts and culture organizations in New York City. She led the Fund’s first open RFP process to support small and mid-sized arts organizations expanding mental health resources for marginalized New York City communities during the pandemic.

Michelle also worked as a program assistant at the Nathan Cummings Foundation and in higher education at Queens College. Originally from Honolulu, HI, she holds a BA in History from Creighton University and currently lives in New York City.
