Wall Mural Design Lunar New Year 2025

Zion Outdoor is seeking a skilled muralist to implement a temporary mural commemorating the Year of the Snake at 245 Canal Street, New York, NY - (China Buddhist Association). The mural will span approximately a total area of 226 square feet.

While a design has already been developed, they welcome the selected artist’s input to ensure practical execution and visual impact.

The mural is intended to engage the local community and celebrate the Lunar New Year, creating a vibrant, eye-catching addition to this prominent location.

Requirements

Eligibility: Open to experienced muralists or teams with a portfolio showcasing large-scale projects.

Scope: The mural design is provided, but artists should be prepared to offer recommendations for adjustments to suit the wall’s dimensions or surface.

Timeline: Rolling

Compensation: Budget commensurate’s with funding and experience. The approximate range is $15–$20 per square foot.
