The Administrative Assistant is a key member of the La MaMa team who supports the Artistic and Managing Director with scheduling, organization, and communications, and also assists in fundraising and marketing activities including: end-of-year and end-of season appeals, special events (particularly the annual gala), stewardship/cultivation events, and meetings with the Board of Directors. The Administrative Assistant must be highly organized and detail oriented. They are in touch frequently with patrons, donors and board members via email/phone. This is a full-time position with an annual salary starting at $41,600 plus benefits.

Requirements

Office Experience preferred but not necessary. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in English and/or Arts/Theatre/Nonprofit Management); Adobe Creative Suite; Strong Writer and Communication Skills; Social Media Skills a plus, a love of the arts a must.
