Preserving Oral Histories with Artist/Composer George Tsz-Kwan Lam

In this free 45-minute online workshop, Performance Project Artist-in-Residence George Tsz-Kwan Lam will introduce participants to his work with collecting oral history and transforming these interviews into music, and will teach participants how to remotely record, edit, and preserve their own oral history recordings using browser-based software. Participants will also be invited to share their memories of NYC’s Chinatown and add them to an interactive, virtual walking tour on Google Earth.
